I just wanted to give you all a quick update letting you know what we've been up to!

This week we finished the first round of patterns for the StratosFloor and this morning we finished sewing up a rough first round prototype, here are a few pics!

StratosFloor with two pads in place, definitely cozy - but doable!

Right now the prototype is weighing in at 1lb 2.8oz without stakes. We will be using a 40Denier Nylon Ripstop with a DWR coating on the outside and 1,200mm PU coating on the inside, all corner seams will be seam taped. If you didn't get a chance to add it to your reward - don't sweat it, you can do that here! I am really happy with the first version of the StratosFloor, it's a great starting point, there will be many more revisions of this product before we get it perfect but we're on track! This is an exciting challenge for us because we were not originally planning on creating these items, so you'll be able to be involved in the entire development process! We appreciate your feedback as we move forward!

I want to be up front and honest with you all, adding and creating these new products will extend our timeline to some degree ( not to mention we still don't have all of the surveys in :/ ). I do not anticipate the extension being a substantial amount of time, but the volume of work to create these additional new products and added raw materials to sort through and purchase, does take time. So I do covet your patience and we will keep all of you up to date as everything develops. I have a one way ticket to our Manufacturer's facility in February and I will stay there until we have all of our products perfect and ready for production.

As I post these updates I'll gauge the feedback we receive, if you all want more in depth info just let us know!
